Review: Boilsoft Video Splitter is an application that you can use for media files easily cut into several pieces. It supports various video formats including AVI, 3GP, MPG, VOB, RM, MP4, FLV, MKV and even MP3 audio expansion. This type of tool is required if you want to save the video on the Internet or on a removable device, and found that its size is too large. The application interface is simple and intuitive. You can import video using the file browser or drag-and-drop method. Thus, you can see the frame rate and size, preview video and media player, using basic tools such as play, pause and stop. When it comes to reducing the file, you can divide into equal size clips or choice (set start time and end time when playing videos). After clicking on the Split now, you can choose the method of the split between straight cut and flow encoding mode, then you can specify the output destination for your video pieces. The program quickly ends the task, using a moderate amount of system resources, and provides step-by-step tutorial of pictures. However, the trial version has some serious limitations. Additionally, Boilsoft Video Splitter seems to have some compatibility issues with Windows 7 (after clicking Split now, the program crashed every time, our tests). But it works flawlessly on Windows XP. In general, Boilsoft Video Splitter is a great tool for cutting video files, and we strongly recommend all users.
